Another element that makes this new security solution so secure is that the main security key used for authentication is stored on the chip located on the cryptographic card. The cryptographic processor on the microSD™ card encrypts data stored on the smartphone as well all incoming and outgoing communication.

Highly secure and highly convenient: a great match for all BlackBerry® smartphones. Our new security package includes two main components. One is a cryptographic card called Mobile Security Card 3.1 microSDTM. All you have to do is insert it into the phone's designated slot. The second component is the software that "communicates" with the card: SmartCard Notificator and the IT security middleware. Driver software is required for BlackBerry® smartphones that use operating systems that pre-date OS 5.
